The Castle Dining Club
Thursday, 26th November, 2009
Kit and Louise Chapman and friends host a grand Moët & Chandon dinner featuring some of the most outstanding champagnes and wines from the cellars of Moët & Chandon. The line-up includes Moët’s 2003 vintage at the welcome party (a champagne Hugh Johnson describes as “awesome”). This is followed by a four-course feast prepared by Chef Richard Guest matched by a list of legendary labels from around the world:
• Dom Perignon. • Cloudy Bay from New Zealand. • Cheval des Andes, Argentina’s famous joint-venture with Château Cheval Blanc. • Le Petit Cheval, Cheval Blanc’s second wine. • And a glass of Veuve Clicquot to end the evening. The party will gather in the Penthouse at 7.00pm for pre-dinner champagne and canapés, followed by dinner at 7.30pm in the Castle’s dining room. The price for the evening is the usual great value at £99.00 per person to include the reception in the Penthouse, the dinner, all wines served with dinner, coffee and VAT.
We are also offering a special room rate of £165.00 for the night of 26th November for those guests who would like to stay over. This rate is for double or twin occupancy and includes our magnificent West Country breakfast.
