The Castle Hotel is a magical place to be at Christmas time.
From the moment you step inside the revolving front door you’ll have a sense of warm Christmas cheer. And the huge Christmas tree and fantastic festive decorations are just the start.
The pretty market town of Taunton is surrounded by magnificent sea and landscapes providing you with plenty of fresh air and fantastic walks. Our magnificent Penthouse will house plenty of board games for you to enjoy, and we guarantee fine food and wine and plenty of rest and relaxation.
The Brewhouse theatre, a 10 minute stroll from The Castle, will be staging its Christmas performance, which in past years has proved a sell-out, and Hestercombe has a fantastic winter wonderland ice-rink for the whole family to enjoy before strolling around the magnificent gardens.
Christmas Breaks - SOLD OUT Our Christmas breaks are available for two or three nights, arriving on Christmas Eve. Throughout your stay you’ll enjoy full board and we’ll even throw in the occasional tipple! Two night packages are available from £489 per person and three nights, from £689 per person.
We do of course encourage you to stay with us for longer, and for those that are able to, we offer a very special rate of £99.00 per person per night from 21st – 30th December (includes a two course dinner in BRAZZ, accommodation and an award winning breakfast).
The Castle Hotel really is THE place to be seen on New Year’s Eve. This year there will be a set four course, grand gala dinner in the Grill, Wisteria and Garden rooms showcasing the very best dishes from the Castle’s kitchens followed by a disco and plenty of celebrating!
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a long, hot, soak in the bath, or a walk in the nearby hills before donning your glad rags for the evening's celebrations.
New Years Eve Menu
One night stays are available from £179 per person and include a champagne reception, gala dinner, disco, accommodation and an award winning breakfast.
In BRAZZ you’ll find a reduced menu with all the usual favourites, and a fun and vibrant atmosphere. For those residents wishing to dine in BRAZZ, bedrooms are available from £89 per person including a full English breakfast.
