Castle June News
General Manager, Marc Mac Closkey
The wedding season is now well and truly underway and I’m pleased to say that we have a record number of brides and grooms celebrating with us this year. As the wedding market seems to be taking off, so are our Stag and Hen Parties. We’ve extended our offering to include exhilarating 4x4 off-road driving and clay pigeon shooting (both within a half hour drive of the hotel). On-site, in the tranquil setting of the Norman garden we can bring things alive with Laser Clays and traditional Archery.
If you’re in the throws of arranging your special day, visit us and some fantastic Somerset suppliers, at our wedding fayre on Sunday 14th July.
Working with Outside Adventure Consultants we have put together a fantastic weekend package of a two night stay including a two course dinner in BRAZZ on one evening, and the Grill on the other, a wonderful English breakfast on both mornings, a half day 4x4 off-road driving (with instructor) and a Castle packed lunch for £285.00 per person.
For those seeking something a little less thrilling, we are also able to bring you mini safaris (from just one hour) to full day safaris which take in local history, flora and fauna, the Jurassic Coast, Quantocks and Brendon Hills. You can travel by car or on foot! Contact us for details.
I look forward to seeing you very soon!
